Sitter sessions are often overlooked, however they remain a favourite of mine. More and more parents from Barnoldswick and the surrounding areas are booking in their gorgeous babies to capture and celebrate this milestone. But what is it? And what does it mean?

A 'Sitter' is simply a baby who can sit up, fully unsupported and confidently. This is usually around 6-9 months of age (however all babies develop at different stages so should could be earlier or later than this) but not yet on the move.

When your baby is sitting, they seem to have more confidence in themselves, as if they know they have achieved this milestone in their lives and are proud, and rightly so too :)

This is the perfect time for a photography session, your baby is at the perfect stage for lots of smiles and expressions and to really capture their growing personality too.

All outfits, props and accessories are provided so you don't need to worry about what to bring along with you.

The all natural look is also a very cute favourite too, keeping it simple and leaving all the focus on your gorgeous baby.
